Weekly(ish) Newsletter: It Finally Happened
It finally happened. I broke down about two weeks ago. I finally allowed myself to mourn and grieve all the things that happened over the past 12 weeks. Between Studio No. 7, the sudden appearance of my biological father, deciding to start Holy Sip and a slew of other things that happened this summer, I finally felt overwhelmed and weak. So, I turned off my phone for the weekend and allowed myself to just sit with it.
I cried, I cleaned and threw stuff out, I read a novel and I ate Indian food (Aamar). As painful as the grief was, I knew that it was necessary. I started to understand that I was starting a new chapter and that on the other side of this there was a whole new life waiting for me that was even better than the stuff that I was subconsciously trying to cling to and that the sooner that I let go of all of it, I'd be able to walk into that.
Last Monday, I launched Holy Sip. When I step into that space, I know that it's exactly what I want to be doing right now and everything else is behind me. I hope you guys will come and experience it.
As always, it's good to be writing again. I'll be sending out regular(ish) newsletters again (there's a cat that wouldn't leave my balcony yesterday, this made sense here).
Hope you all had a great summer. And Happy Autumn! (I originally wrote Fall, but it looked weird. I don't want you guys to fall.)
